What is Mackinaw Wool? How is it different from Yukon and Seattle wools?Updated 2 months ago
Mackinaw Wool: At 24-26 oz per linear yard, our Mackinaw wool is durable, breathable, warm, and naturally water repellent. Used to make some of our most popular products, including the century-old Mackinaw Cruiser.
Yukon Wool is also heavyweight, measuring in at 24-oz per linear yard. However, Yukon wool has been brushed for soft comfort.
Seattle Wool has a nice drape and is a midweight 18-oz. 100% virgin wool that’s been brushed for soft comfort.
Our Mackinaw, Yukon & Seattle wools are all 100% virgin wool from the USA. Dry clean only.
